NOOSA FESTIVAL OF WATER • Sunday 25 June

NOOSA has long known the best way to protect the overall environment is to safeguard the water quality of the Noosa River and lakes system.

And there have been few better ways to raise public awareness on preserving the natural flows than the Noosa Festival of Water which will be showcased again at Lake Macdonald on Sunday 25th June.

"Today the festival has evolved to become an annual showcase of our region's ecological attributes with a primary aim of improving community awareness of how each of us can play a part protecting and preserving our environment in our day to day lives,” she said. We're helping our sister Andrea Kirwin launch her new album this February at The Shared, Yandina.

Here's what she's got to say...

Come one come all to the launch of my 3rd Album, A Quiet Revolution, a live and acoustic album. The first show of my 2 month national tour visiting venues and festivals in QLD, NSW, VIC & WA. Supporting musically is the ever mellow gentlement of roots/reggae n good vibes, Peter Hunt (KOOII), as well as the psychadelic folk troubadour trio THE MOONSETS (Formerly the Flumes). My sister and I will be performing a special duo set of songs from the 17 track new album. $20 on the door, come and enjoy the sweet soulful tunes at one of the Coast's coziest venues, - The Shared, 13 Railway st, Yandina.
